Building a restaurant is a balance between your personal vision, business strategy, and technical requirements. Our job is making things work, but we never sacrifice your vision. We know that buildings are more than bricks and mortar.
Some of our most rewarding experiences have been helping restaurant owners begin and expand their business. There’s no better feeling than seeing people’s dreams come true. We’re local, so we don’t just build or refurbish your building, we get to see the long-term results. We want to see your flourish.

The owners of Spring Rolls, a full service, Asian fusion restaurant, had so much success in North Raleigh that they decided to add a second location by the PNC arena in West Raleigh. After having trouble with their first general manager, a friend told them about us. We agreed to complete all interior renovation. Of course, building on a ground floor of a multistory, residential building provides a unique set of scheduling constraints, but we enjoyed the whole process and saw it through to the grand opening. We are glad to say the new restaurant looks great! We enjoyed building it and what matters most is the owners are happy: “Thank you and we appreciate the commitment the IDB team has shown to get this project completed” We wish them success and hope there will be many more restaurants to come.

Jonathan Pierce had a dream to own his own restaurant. It took him a full year just to get investors together so he could get a loan from the bank. But he was tenacious in his market research, concept design, and fund allocation. When you’re an entrepreneur you need to get the best bang for your buck. So he asked us to do the renovations. We transformed an old deli into a new, family friendly, comfort food tavern. Plus he knew we knew how to do restaurants. Most of our work revolved around making the dining area match his concept. And his tenacity paid off. Jonathan’s dream has come true and he’s a happy owner of a wildly successful restaurant. We were just glad to be a part of it.
